Got a new family member about a month ago. Someone left her at a lake and my husband found her. Never thought I'd have a lizard in my house but she's actually really neat. Reptiles and wild animals belong in their natural habitat. Please, if you decide to get one they are alot of work and they have the rankest 💩 especially if you have a weak stomach like me. I've seen too many groups now where they are being re homed. If you are thinking about getting one, look into a rescue rather than buying one, and do plenty of research on how to care for them. She's already had a rough life... missing a leg, part of her tail, and then some a hole threw her out like garbage. Any animal is work, so don't get one if you can't make a lifelong commitment.
